Customer Reviews

"Conveniently located across from the Harbor Town Inn, I had the pleasure of enjoying both supper and breakfast at this lovely restaurant. While the wait staff is limited, they work hard, our friendly, and have a really smile. I never felt neglected - they checked on me frequently. I sat at the counter as a solo diner and had a front row seat to watch the evening cooks. There was constant funny barter between the cooks and the staff which made the atmosphere light and fun. I returned for breakfast and both meals were delicious and the food was plenty. I arrived at 6:15am So that I could get on the road early and someone was already outside with a weedeater, ensuring everything looked great. I will be back if ever I pass this way again."

"Guys, this is the best breakfast place in town, hands down. Moreover, this is the best breakfast we've had in a while (and we travel all over the country). Friendly yet simple and genuine service. Delicious home style portions that would make your stomach beg for mercy. Home like atmosphere that resembles good old America of the past. Very reasonable prices! This is all about WI. Their blintzes are to die for! If you happen to pass by - give it a shot and see for yourself. It just feels right."

"Very nice variety on the men, but I chose the broasted chicken, which was excellent. Believe it was $12.99 for half a chicken, easily enough food for 3 lunches for an average appetite. The broccoli soup was also very good & believe they had three types to choose from. Service couldn't have been better. If I lived here it would be my go to restaurant. Thank you, Cheryl B."

"A step up from the classic family restaurant. Same charm and ambiance, but better food (and nicer appearance). I only come here for breakfast, but the offerings and tastes bring me back. The stuffed cheese blintzes are my favorite. Ask for whipped cream (no extra charge). Friendly attentive service (especially from the regular waitstaff). Recommend"

"The food was great and in good sized proportions. The waitress was fast and friendly. We were seated right away, after giving up at Perkins and leaving because they don't think they need to bother with actually hiring employees to help the customers."

"Been years since I last been here. Coming back to my roots, my family wanted some breakfast before visiting the grandparents and we happened to stop here. The kids loved it. Large portions and quick service. Will definitely come back when we return in the area"

- Cher T.

"I had the oatmeal, bacon and an egg. The egg was 2.95. I thought that was very overpriced. Usually they're $1.50 other places. The egg tasted weird so I didn't eat it but the oatmeal was great served with brown sugar, milk and raisins and so was the bacon nice and crisp with a generous portion. Service was good!"
